PERFORMANCE OVERVIEW

RG-1940B Rotating Bee Eye Moving Head Effects

The RG-1940B Rotating Bee Eye Moving Head combines nineteen four-in-one OSRAM LED sources, an adjustable 4–60° spot angle, a separate RGB strip and a continuously rotating front mirror disc. It gives a lighting rig beam, wash and front-lens effect options in one moving head.

01

19 × 40W LED sources

Four-in-one OSRAM LEDs form the primary bee-eye light source.

02

4–60° spot angle

Move between a tighter beam and a broader wash look.

03

Rotating front disc

Continuous rotation supports vortex and kaleidoscope-style effects.

04

RGB light strip

74 separate 5050 RGB LEDs add a visible color accent.

OPTICAL EFFECTS

Shape the output from beam to wash.

Use the tighter end of the listed 4–60° range for concentrated looks and the wider end for broader color cues. Front-disc rotation adds vortex and kaleidoscope patterns; the RGB strip adds a separate front-facing accent. Choose these layers by the cue you need, then check the footprint at your working distance.

4–60°Listed adjustable spot angle.
VortexA rotating front-lens effect for moving looks.
KaleidoscopeA second effect mode from the front mirror disc.
74 RGB LEDsSeparate 5050 light-strip sources.

B2B ORDER FLOW

From project brief to a relevant quotation.

01 · REQUIREMENTS

Share the project context.

For an RG-1940B quotation, send quantity, destination, working distance and the required beam, wash or rotating-lens look. Include the fixture positions and whether the audience will see the lens face so the discussion starts with the show requirements.

02 · CONFIGURATION

Review control needs.

Identify the preferred DMX channel mode and whether Auto, sound or master/slave operation is needed. For control-system planning, consult ESTA’s DMX512-A guide; confirm this fixture’s channel mode and connector configuration separately.

03 · QUOTATION

Confirm the supplied setup.

The 19 × 40W figure describes the main LED sources, not complete fixture input power. Confirm the supplied input rating for power planning, along with packing, accessories and commercial details for the order.
